The Summerhouse Project – Part 1 (Goodbye old friend)

I have a dream coming true next month, I am finally getting a summerhouse!
We are lucky enough to have a lovely space in our garden that is a perfect plot, for a private space, until a week ago a very sweet but dilapidated shed stood in it.   Thanks to Facebook the shed has now gone and is being reutilised by somebody else, I advertised it on a local page as free to anybody that could take it away –I got 13 people after it so there were no worries about us having to take it down and get rid of it.

This space is at the back of our garage, but the ground level is quite raised, so that when I am up there I can see over the garage roof to the gate, which is handy when our dog barks to let me know somebody is around!   It is quite a secluded corner so I nip up there with a cuppa when I am having a break, up until now I have pulled out a chair and perched in the front of the shed watching the birds and tending to my many pots I have grand plans for the design and use of the new building when it arrives though and thought it would be fun to share the journey.
